Detailed Itinerary of the 7 Days Uganda Camping Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe to hotel

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and get picked up by a driver guide who transfers you briefly around Entebbe Town then proceed to check-in at campsite for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Set up your tent camp.

Day 2:  Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

On the 2nd Day of the 7 Days Uganda Camping Safari, have early morning breakfast then embark on transfer to the vast beautiful Murchison Falls National Park. The Park is located in the north Western part of Uganda and prominently known to offer remarkable wildlife safaris to travelers on holiday vacation in Uganda. You transfer for a period of 3 to 4 hours depending on the traffic jam around Kampala along the Kampala-Gulu Highway. Pass via the famous Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary then continue to the park where you take on an en-route Game Drive watching wildlife animals like elephant, buffalo, Ugandan kob, hippopotamus, topi, waterbuck, warthog, giant forest hog, Nile crocodile, leopard, spotted hyena, lion, leopards, giraffes, etc wander around their natural habitat. After wards, you get to your campsite and set up a tent camp and relax, have dibber and Overnight. Set up your tent camp.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at the Victoria Nile

Early morning breakfast then embark on an exciting Game Drive along the various tracks in the park watching many wildlife animals than take many photos to keep. These include; elephant, buffalo, Ugandan kob, hippopotamus, topi, waterbuck, warthog, giant forest hog, Nile crocodile, leopard, spotted hyena, lion, leopards, giraffes, etc at mid day, return to the campsite for lunch then after at exactly 2:30 pm, get on a Boat Cruise along the Victoria Nile where you watch various animals along the banks, hippos and crocodiles beneath the waters, rainbow descending deep into the gushing water falls as well as various species of birds. After a period of 3 hours taking photos, return to the banks and get into your 4×4 wheel vehicle to your campsite for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Set up your tent camp.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

On the 4th Day of the 7 Days Uganda Camping Safari, you drive to Kibale National Park, known for its chimpanzee population a journey that takes you a period of 6 to 7 hours with views of the green terrain vegetation, birds, Rwenzori Mountains at a distance. Lunch is en-route then when you reach Kibale Forest National Park,  proceed on a guided nature walk to view the green forest, primates, birds and after a while, proceed to campsite to set up your camp near Kibale Forest for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Set up your tent camp.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest

Morning delicious breakfast then proceed to the park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the chimpanzees then after in allocated groups of 8 with a lead park ranger guide, you shall proceed to the starting point to enter the green forest vegetation to trek the Chimpanzees for a period of 2 to 4 hours along varying trails.

After a while, you shall meet the Chimpanzees and stay in their presence taking many photos to keep. After tracking the Chimpanzees and taking photos, you shall return to campsite for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Set up your tent camp near the forest.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Delicious morning breakfast on the 6th Day of the 7 Days Uganda Camping Safari, then proceed to the stunning Queen Elizabeth National Park a journey that takes you 3 to 4 hours watching the green terrain, bird species, Mountain Rwenzori at a distance as well as lunch. Later, you shall reach the park then get to campsite to set up tent camp for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Set up your tent camp near the forest.

Day 7: Game Drive and Departure

Have an en-route Game Drive along the various tracks in the park as you are leaving then after a while get on departure to Kampala/ Entebbe International airport to board flight back home.
