Lake Mburo National Park: Wildlife Safaris in Uganda

Lake Mburo National Park is located in the Western Part of Uganda close to the busy ton of Mbarara and known prominently for offering the Best Wildlife Safaris in Uganda. The Park includes various ecosystems with remarkable biodiversity which is exceptional to explore as you transfer from one point to another in the park watching wildlife animals wander. The Park covers an area of 370 square kilometers with varying flora and fauna species. How to Get to Lake Mburo National Park 

Lake Mburo National Park is located in the Western Part of Uganda and can be accessed by use of both Air and Road as chosen by the travelers exploring Uganda on safari holiday. 

By Air

Travelers using Air to the Park can fly from the Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airstrip in a domestic Flight offered by Aero Link Uganda, Eagle Air to Mbarara Airport where you leave from to the park. 

By Road

Lake Mburo National Park cab be accessed by use of Road as you transfer from Kampala or Entebbe to the Western Part of Uganda via the Kampala-Masaka Highway. You can also proceed from the South West through Mbarara then to the Park.

Game Drives

Game Drives in Lake Mburo National Park are exceptional to do in the Park as you get to watch various wildlife animals wander around the Park. Game Drives in the Park give you a chance to watch wildlife animals like zebras, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, Uganda kobs, small antelope, crocodiles. The Game Drives are scheduled Morning, Afternoon and Night Game Drives which give you a chance to watch the nocturnal wildlife animals. These are preferred by travelers visiting the Park on holiday safari in Uganda. 

Boat Cruise

Boat Cruises in Lake Mburo National Park are exciting as you get to cruise from the shores into the lake watching numerous wildlife animal species. The Boat Cruises take place along the stunning Lake Mburo and these are scheduled Morning, Afternoon and Evening Cruises watching hippos and crocodiles beneath the waters. 

Horseback Riding Safari

Horseback Riding Safaris in Lake Mburo National Park are exceptional to enjoy as you get to watch various wildlife animals while seated at the back of the horses. The Wildlife animals you watch include; zebras, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, Uganda kobs, small antelope.

The trails and hikes go towards the salt licks where you watch various wildlife animals. They also proceed to the kazuma hill and the wildlife animals you watch include; zebras, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, Uganda kobs, small antelope.
